Horses are fed as much hay as needed. When feeding, I take into account each individual horse. What they need often changes based on a number of factors. Things considered are which field were they in that day and how much grass is in that field, whether a horse is in work, how much work, do they need to be in a diet field a couple days a week, etc.
The horsemen and horsewomen who board here come from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. Some are first time horse owners, some have decades of experience. We are all encouraging, open minded, accepting and dedicated. Make some lifelong friends who share your passion for horses.
